How much have you seen of this show outside of a teaser trailer, a few images here and there, also art material? Nothing? yeah nothing! not script, no actual footage of the final product not even a test of Katana’s VO. Yet left and right all I see is haters.
Alfred has a gun and is fighting along side Bruce IN PROMO material, the director has already gone on record saying Alfred’s role will be still a support role, just he will at times be more physical (Ala Batman earth one).
Katana instead of any of the Robins or Batgirls makes sense as this is said to be alittle over 5+ years into bat’s career, possibly at time post killing joke and after Grayson being in transition to Nightwing. Also there’s not a “No robin/batgirl” rule for all we know it will be at a time when Grayson is busy with Titans. Also for those out of the Know, Katana and Bruce in the comics have a relationship, almost equal to Bruce and Tim, since Katana’s first appered in 86.
Batman’s design has changed a lot from the initial art, while it’s still heaviiy stylized with angles, it’s not as block like as before.
As for it replace Lantern and Or YJ, it’s not beware the batman’s fault, it’s WBs (I repeat not CN but WB as they are the ones who produce the shows and give the green light and red light!) hell CN probably would have made more room for all 4 shows to run as they have alot of open space in terms if Saturday morning programming(where DC Nation is atm)
